From the get-go, Precious Oshideko has always been committed to impacting the lives of many, most especially the youth in Nigeria. In the past years, the self-starter noticed that young individuals had been involved in several alarming crimes in the country, including kidnapping, internet fraud, and more, so he made it his mission to address this issue by providing long-term solutions. Thus, Precious Oshideko established Arete-Zale Consulting with a purpose.
“My aim is to address the core of the problem,” explained Precious.
As an Information Technology Auditor, Precious Oshideko is trained to solve issues by finding their root cause. When he discovered that the lack of jobs in Nigeria played a major role in the trajectory of the youth’s future, he became motivated to launch his training platform. Today, Arete-Zale Consulting is highly known as an entity that offers a wide variety of free training in Information Technology, Project Management, and Cloud Computing, as well as providing soft skills development exercises dedicated to equipping young individuals for the future. On a mission to catalyze change and impact more lives, Precious is currently on the lookout for partnership opportunities with corporate bodies in the United States and the United Kingdom to provide more jobs to Nigerian youth.
Although it may seem that Precious Oshideko has yet to unravel his purpose-driven projects for the youth through Arete-Zale Consulting, this multifaceted personality has been empowering communities since time immemorial. As a matter of fact, when he first entered the IT industry at the ripe age of 40, Precious immediately created significant strides, which led to him securing a strategic role as a vice president in one of the Fortune 100 company. He wanted to continue pursuing excellence to help those in need, so he expanded his knowledge and finished an MBA degree at the University of Phoenix in Arizona. Currently, the visionary uses his expertise not only in running a training institution but also running a Doctoral program in Business Administration, specializing in information system and enterprise resource management.
On top of these promising entities, Precious Oshideko also impacts the world through his charitable institution, the Precious Oshideko Foundation. He empowers remote African communities by providing them with food and shelter, as well as organizing skills workshops. Proving worthy of its stellar reputation, the foundation recently finished a greenhouse facility, which was donated to the Plant Science Department of Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State, Nigeria.
As Precious Oshideko continues to transform his purpose-driven vision into action, he wishes to see a drastic rise in personalities and entities that are determined to create a social impact. As a matter of fact, he plans to spark government and organizations participation in his quest for a better world in the years to come.
